Fortnite Leaders Dominate Day 1 of Champion Series Finals

The highly anticipated finals of the Fortnite Champion Series are in full swing, bringing together battle royale hopefuls from across the world who’ve toiled away for five consecutive weeks to secure a spot among each regions’ best players.

On day one, the competition produced some high tier matches, brilliantly contested wins, dominance from Fortnite’s biggest names, and its fair share of surprises. The competition’s scheduled matchmaking system had a few hiccups too, forcing Epic Games to push back both the Brazil Heat 1 and NA East Heat 1. That wasn’t all, the broadcast itself encountered technical difficulties.

Here are all the top-five results for each region. Points are allocated as follows: 15 points for winning a Fortnite heat match, 12 points for second, nine points for third or fourth, six points for fifth to eighth, three points for ninth to twelfth, and one point per elimination.

Fortnite NA East Region

The second day of the Fortnite Champion Series Finals has already kicked off for some regions with many of them hopping into Heats 2, 3 and 4 on the way to their respective Grand Finals tomorrow, while the Middle East region hosts its Grand Final later on today.
