Ethereum Dips Below 149.78 Level, Down 15% – Ethereum fell bellow the $149.78 level on Friday. Ethereum was trading at 149.78 by 05:35 (10:35 GMT) on the Index, down 14.93% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage loss since September 24.

The move downwards pushed Ethereum’s market cap down to $16.66B, or 8.25% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Ethereum’s market cap was $135.58B.

Ethereum had traded in a range of $149.77 to $163.06 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Ethereum has seen a drop in value, as it lost 16.44%. The volume of Ethereum traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $10.45B or 11.50% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $149.7723 to $185.9690 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Ethereum is still down 89.48% from its all-time high of $1,423.20 set on January 13, 2018.

Bitcoin was last at $7,096.9 on the Index, down 11.96% on the day.

XRP was trading at $0.23285 on the Index, a loss of 5.16%.

Bitcoin’s market cap was last at $131.19B or 64.97% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while XRP’s market cap totaled $10.27B or 5.09% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
