Recent price movement on the charts indicates that Crypto prices have started to steadily move higher since Monday. This upward shift has remained consistent since Monday. Bitcoin (BTC) was up by 0.26% as of press time at the close of trade.
The digital token was last trading at $6,356.21 since Sunday, Nov. 11. Through this past weekend, the price of the world’s largest digital asset by market cap Bitcoin slipped below $6,300 for the first time the Oct. 31 incident.
According to data collected by CoinMarketCap, the overall market capitalization of the entire crypto was last at $212 billion following the different price movement from the market.
Ethereum Co-founder, Joseph Lubin Says Decentralized Technology will Facilitate Wealth Generation
Speaking at the NY Times Luxury Conference this past Monday, Joseph Lubin, who is the co-founder of the Ethereum network, said that the blockchain, which is the technology that underpins every cryptocurrency, has the potential to generate wealth. According to him:
“We are looking to hold more control over our identity and agency on these multiple decentralized digital asset networks. Yes. I think that is going to create more wealth moving forward. There will be more interest in expressing ourselves. I think the appetite for luxury than less will increase drastically.”
Since going on to Co-launch the popular blockchain, Ethereum (ETH), the Canadian entrepreneur has embarked on making his mark in the tech world. He is now the Chief Executive Officer of software-production firm ConsenSys.
What are Altcoins and Futures Up To According to Price Movements?
All the other top coins on the map apart from Bitcoin (BTC), had a mixed Monday at the close of trade. Ethereum (ETH) the world’s second-largest digital asset -1.14% was up by 0.3% trading at $208.60 as of press time. As for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) -1.84%, the digital token was down by 2% and traded at $509.00 as of press time.
While Litecoin (LTC) – 0.62% remained unchanged from the previous price movement, it managed days ago as it traded at $50.37 as of the time of writing. XRP (XRP) on the other hand +0.00%, was up by an impressive 3.7% trading at 52 cents.
Bitcoin futures also had a mixed Monday at the close of trade as well. The Cboe Global Markets November contract (XBTX8) -0.71%, finished at 0.1% trading at $6,320 while the CME Group November contract (BTCX8) -0.63% ended the trading session down by 0.2% trading at $6,325.
In other news, Vitalik Buterin, in a recent interview with Joseph Lubin, the co-founder of Ethereum, had his say about the Shasper and other different types of ideas that are involved in trying to improve the Ether protocol (something he and his team have long been working on for over four years). This will address the scalability issues that trouble the network.
